Description (from a shop): Als Kind verbrachte Yves Coueslant, einer der Gründer von diptyque, seine Sommer an der Küste in der Pagode, die sein Vater in Do Son in der Along Bucht gebaut hatte. Weit entfernt von der stickigen Hitze des großen Hafens in Haiphong war die Luft kühler. Die Meeresbrise brachte den berauschenden und leicht würzigen Duft von Tuberosen mit sich, den seine Mutter so liebte. Do Son hat sowohl die Feinheit als auch die Beharrlichkeit einer Erinnerung aus einer Kindheit in Südostasien. Eine Erinnerung an Blumen, zwischen Leichtigkeit und Wollust schwebend.
