Es ist vor allem für ölige Haut, Mischhaut und die Haut, die zu Unreinheiten neigt, bestens geeignet. GlykolsäureGlykolsäure zeichnet sich durch ihre gute Aufnahmefähigkeit aus. Die Moleküle dieser Fruchtsäure (AHA) sind kleiner als die der vergleichbaren Fruchtsäuren, daher ist ihre Peeling-Wirkung sehr intensiv.
