Septanasal Nasenspray sollte immer genau nach den Anweisungen in der Packungsbeilage oder des Arztes angewendet werden. Erwachsene und Jugendliche über 12 Jahre können nach Bedarf bis zu 3-mal täglich je einen Sprühstoß in jede Nasenöffnung geben. Die Anwendung sollte auf maximal 7 Tage begrenzt werden. Kinder ab 6 Jahren können ebenfalls bis zu 3-mal täglich einen Sprühstoß in jede Nasenöffnung verwenden, jedoch sollte die Anwendung bei Kindern von einem Erwachsenen überwacht werden.
