The modem has both RJ11 sockets and terminal sockets for the pure wire connection. The additional option of earthing the devices (with the ALL95100 lightning protection) provides the necessary protection against lightning strikes in the area of application. Two Gigabit ports connect the modem to the network. The new ALL-MC116VDSL2 now also has an optional Gigabit SFP slot to expand the communication with copper or fiber GBIC modules if necessary.
