Continuous connectivity for your smart devices with this edge hub! Multi-protocol hub with Matter Bridge functionality M3 supports the Aqara Zigbee device range, acts as a Matter Bridge and seamlessly integrates the latest Aqara Thread devices 1. It also connects third-party devices and integrates them into the Aqara Home app. Edge compatibilities and local automations The M3 is an edge hub that focuses on direct local control and automation. Once integrated into your network, it takes precedence over existing Aqara hubs and shifts automation between them to local operation. IR blaster with feedback and smart learning The 360° IR Blaster not only sends commands, but also recognizes the traditional remote control and provides accurate status updates. It also connects IR air conditioners to Matter so that it can act as an AC thermostat in conjunction with an Aqara Climate Sensor 4. Optimal wired and wireless connectivity The M3 offers both wired and wireless solutions and features dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4-5 GHz) with advanced WPA3 security and a Power over Ethernet (PoE) port. The additional USB-C port enables the connection of mini UPS and power banks for unparalleled stability. Data protection-oriented with encrypted memory The M3 is characterized by the fact that it has neither a microphone nor a camera, which eliminates important data protection concerns. It has local storage with end-to-end encryption, so that private data remains confidential. It also has 8 GB of eMMC memory for secure data processing. Easy setup and versatile placement The M3 comes with a bracket, screws and a sticker for easy placement on flat surfaces or mounting on walls or ceilings. Once switched on, MagicPair technology ensures automatic detection by the Aqara Home app.
