The GEK 10 can re-activate soldering tips that no longer take solder in minimum time. • Halogen-free • No sanding, no damage to soldering tips • Suitable for lead-free solders and solders containing lead • Easy to use • Diameter: 6 cm/height: 3 cm • Weight 60 g Lead-free solder alloys are considerably more aggressive than those that contain lead. Passive soldering tips and desoldering nozzles are generally scrubbed in practice with steel brushes and used again for a short period. Doing this damages the alloy on the soldering tip and seriously limits the service life. GEK 10 reactivates the soldering tips using renewable raw materials and not using a cocktail of chemicals containing halogen.
