HOMEMATIC IP HMIP FWI - Wiegand interface

Homematic IP Wiegand interface With the Wiegand interface, you can integrate Wiegand-compatible end devices into your Homematic IP smart home system, such as code locks, fingerprint sensors or card and transponder readers. The Homematic IP app makes it possible to set up the interface as you like it and integrate Wiegand-compatible devices. This makes access to the Smart Home both secure and convenient. The Wiegand interface has eight virtual input channels that can be individually linked to Wiegand codes. In this way, a Wiegand code can control one or more virtual input channels and trigger actions. In combination with the relevant Homematic IP devices, you can thus control the lighting, the garage door or the alarm mode.
