Description (from a shop): Parfums de Marly presenta "Herod", un omaggio all'omonimo leggendario cavallo da corsa purosangue inglese, vissuto dal 1758 al 1780 e diretto discendente di Byerley Turk. Ricche note speziate di cannella e l'alloro della corona del vincitore adornano la testa aggraziata di questo cavallo eccezionale. L'impressione di note fruttate deriva da un gioco sapientemente costruito di fiori di osmanto, foglie di tabacco, sottile incenso e labdano. Il gioco muscolare sotto il manto lucido di questo nobile animale viene alla mente quando, nel fondo, l'aspro baccello di vaniglia e il leggero legno di cedro incontrano un intreccio di vetiver, patchouli, nagarmotha e muschio.
