Ogni bustina contiene 9,736 g di macrogol 4000: il principio attivo trattiene acqua nell'intestino e favorisce la formazione di feci più morbide, facilitandone l'evacuazione. Il formato monodose permette di sciogliere la polvere in acqua prima dell'assunzione. Il foglio illustrativo ne prevede l'impiego negli adulti e nei bambini di età superiore a 8 anni con peso superiore a 20 kg, con dose da adeguare alle indicazioni riportate.
