Description (from a shop): Due cose ci accompagnano mentre camminiamo tra il verde delle piantagioni di thè dell’antica Java: il cono del vulcano Kawa Jien più e i cespugli di vetiver. Le lunghe radici rinforzano il sentiero: è per loro siamo venuti fin qui, per quella nota terrosa che sa quasi di cenere e fa di questo vetiver un’esperienza olfattiva unica. Vetiver: il suono è così francese che trae in inganno. In realtà vettiveru è il nome con cui, in lingua tamil, si indica una pianta dalle lunghe radici, pregiate anche come materiale tessile. Da esse si estrae per distillazione un olio essenziale ambrato. Le origini dunque ci portano nel sud dell’India, ma per il Vetiver di Perris Monte Carlo cercavamo un’esperienz…
