Description (from a shop): Azzurro - was de grote hit van 1968, gecomponeerd door Paolo Conte maar vereeuwigd door Adriano Celentano. In zijn onmiskenbare stijl zong hij over het azuurblauw van de hemel in de zomer en het verlangen naar een verre liefde. Het lied is vaak opnieuw geïnterpreteerd, heel toepasselijk door de Azzurri, het Italiaanse nationale voetbalteam, die het opnieuw zongen na hun wereldbekeroverwinning in Duitsland in 2006. Azuurblauw, een kleur om van te dromen. Mensen in het oude Egypte waren al gefascineerd door deze blauwe kleur in de vorm van lapis lazuli en de kuststreek van de Côte d'Azur werd ernaar vernoemd.
