Description (from a shop): Iedere Florentijn kent deze speciale leeuw: Marzocco. Het edele heraldische dier, en een van de symbolen van Florence, houdt met zijn poot een schild vast waarop de Florentijnse lelie staat afgebeeld. Het beeld, gemaakt door de beeldhouwer Donatello in 1420, staat nu in het Museo del Bargello, een zandstenen kopie die prominent en niet te missen is op het Piazza della Signora, voor het Palazzo Vecchio. De flacon van Roberto Ugolini's Marzocco is ook heel Florentijns - in een warm violet, een kleur die ook heel typerend is voor Florence.
