As part of the celebration of this year's 60th anniversary of diptyque brings you back to a special place: the 60s, where Rive-Gauche in Paris gathered the artists and creatives. In the evenings, people discussed, laughed and partied in the famous bars. One of these legendary bars is the Orphéon, in the immediate vicinity of the first diptyque boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain, where the founders of the brand met regularly to exchange ideas, consult with friends or simply to celebrate. As a tribute to this time of creative friendships, perfumer Olivier Pescheux presents Orphéon today as a fragrance portrait of this think tank. A snapshot that captures the clouds of cigarette smoke, blended with the powdery aromas of rouge and the slightly resinous scent of patinated wood.
