Absolum PS5 Game

If you've dreamt of combining classic side-scrolling combat with modern roguelite unpredictability, Absolum delivers on PlayStation 5. Built by the team behind genre-defining beat 'em ups, it throws you into Talamh, a shattered magical realm where Sun King Azra's Crimson Order enslaves wizards and crushes rebellion. Play as outcast heroes like Galandra, Karl the last free dwarf, wizard prodigy Brome, or the mysterious Cider, each with unique fighting styles and elemental powers. Rated 16 for intense combat, it's perfect for players seeking strategy and skill in every punch and spell. Whether tackling Azra's regime solo or teaming up with a mate locally or online, combat rewards timing and teamwork. Chain combos, synchronise elemental attacks, and master each character's unique abilities as you battle through locations from Grandery's mines to Jaroba's forests. Roguelite elements keep every run fresh, while the rich story of secrets and betrayals adds weight to your uprising. Composer Gareth Coker's soundtrack accompanies your journey, and with local and online co-op, there's plenty of replay potential whether grinding alone or coordinating with friends.
