Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Drill Bit – 962712460

The Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Bit in 12mm diameter with 460mm length is perfectly suited for medium-duty drilling operations in timber construction and joinery. This mid-range diameter is commonly specified for larger dowel work, bolt clearance holes, and creating openings for cables and pipes. Crafted from hardened tool steel with a protective lacquer coating, this auger bit utilises the renowned Levin pattern spirals that ensure rapid chip evacuation and precise cutting performance. The extended 460mm length is invaluable for drilling through substantial timber sections, reaching between floor joists, or accessing tight spaces where standard-length bits cannot reach. The carefully designed threaded tip moderates self-feed when operated with electric power drills, providing controlled penetration and reducing user fatigue, whilst offering sufficient feed for smooth manual operation in a traditional hand brace. Excels in all wood varieties.
