Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Drill Bit – 96276460

The Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Bit in 6mm diameter with 460mm length is the smallest variant in this professional range, ideal for pilot holes and fine woodworking applications. This compact diameter is perfect for creating starter holes before stepping up to larger bits, or for detailed joinery work requiring precision and control. Constructed from hardened tool steel with a protective lacquer finish, this auger bit features the efficient Levin pattern spirals for smooth chip removal. The extended 460mm length provides exceptional reach for drilling through thick timber, wall cavities, or other long-reach applications where standard bits cannot access. The threaded tip delivers moderated self-feed when used with electric power drills, preventing aggressive grab in smaller diameter holes, whilst still providing sufficient feed when operated manually in a hand brace. Suitable for all types of wood.
