Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Drill Bit – 962720460

The Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Bit in 20mm diameter with 460mm length is a professional-grade tool for large-scale drilling operations in timber construction and joinery. This substantial diameter is perfect for creating openings for major fixings, pipe work, substantial cable runs, and large dowel joints in heavy timber framing. Crafted from hardened tool steel with a protective lacquer coating, this auger bit utilises the renowned Levin pattern spirals that ensure rapid chip evacuation even when drilling through dense hardwoods or thick sections. The impressive 460mm length is invaluable for drilling through substantial beams, multiple wall studs, or accessing deep cavities where conventional bits cannot reach. The carefully designed threaded tip moderates self-feed when operated with electric power drills, providing controlled penetration and reducing user fatigue during demanding tasks, whilst offering sufficient feed for smooth manual operation in a traditional hand brace. Excels in all wood varieties.
