DeWalt Brad Point Wood Drill Bit – DT4505QZ

The DeWalt Brad Point Wood Drill Bit in 5mm is a compact, precise size ideal for fine joinery work, pilot holes, small dowel joints, and detail drilling in both hardwood and softwood. The 5mm diameter is frequently used in cabinetmaking, furniture assembly, and finishing carpentry where accuracy is paramount. Precise cutting edges produce clean, splinter-free holes with neat entry and exit points, essential when working on visible or finished timber surfaces. The brad point tip prevents the bit from skating on smooth or polished wood, ensuring each hole is positioned exactly as marked. Engineered flutes maintain efficient chip clearance, keeping the bit cutting cleanly even during repeated, close-spaced drilling operations. Manufactured from high-quality chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric, this bit offers the precision and durability professionals require. Features and Benefits: • Precise cutting edges minimise splintering for clean results • Brad point tip prevents walking on entry • Engineered flutes for effective chip removal • Chrome-vanadium alloy steel for professional-grade durability • Hardened and ground centric for accuracy • Suitable for plywood, hardwood, and softwood
