DEWALT Brad Point Drill Bit 18Mm

The DeWalt Brad Point Wood Drill Bit in 18mm meets the requirements of heavy structural and specialist woodworking applications, providing a large, clean bore suitable for bolt passages, pipe sleeves, and large-format dowel joints in thick hardwood and engineered timber. Precise cutting edges keep splintering to an absolute minimum across the substantial 18mm cutting diameter, delivering a professional-quality finish even in demanding materials such as dense oak or engineered board. The brad point tip provides accurate, positive location on the workpiece surface, ensuring each hole is placed exactly as intended. Engineered flutes are designed to evacuate the significant chip volumes generated at this size, maintaining free-cutting performance throughout the operation. Fabricated from high-quality chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric, this 18mm bit is engineered for professional trade applications. Features and Benefits: • Precise cutting edges minimise splintering for clean results • Brad point tip prevents walking on entry • Engineered flutes for effective chip removal • Chrome-vanadium alloy steel for professional-grade durability • Hardened and ground centric for accuracy • Suitable for plywood, hardwood, and softwood
