Faithfull Combination Auger Drill Bit – FAICA25L

This 25mm x 400mm Long Series Faithfull Combination Auger Bit delivers maximum drilling capacity with extended reach for the most demanding deep boring applications. The combination of substantial 25mm diameter and extra long 400mm length makes it indispensable for drilling through thick structural timbers, deep wall sections, or multiple members where major services require routing. The 25mm diameter provides generous clearance for the largest plumbing installations, major electrical installations, and substantial mechanical services, whilst the 400mm length ensures you can complete deep boring tasks that would be impossible with standard bits. Machined from high quality carbon steel, this bit is specifically engineered to maintain rigidity and resist deflection even under the most demanding drilling conditions. The pitched screw point delivers consistent self-feeding action throughout the entire drilling depth, reducing operator fatigue whilst maintaining control during extended drilling operations. The wide flat spiral design is absolutely essential at this combination of diameter and length, ensuring straight tracking over extended distances whilst efficiently evacuating the very substantial volume of waste material generated. Suitable for timber, plywood, MDF and blockwood, this extra long auger can be used in either hand or power drills at low speeds, though power drills are strongly recommended. The carbon steel construction allows for resharpening using a hand file.
