Forgefix Forgefast Pozi Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 4.5 X 80 Mm Box 100

This 4.5mm diameter x 80mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides extended fixing capability for the thickest timber sections with robust diameter characteristics. The 80mm length is particularly well-suited to securing heavy-duty structural beams, substantial timber framework, and thick floor constructions where maximum penetration with the enhanced strength of a 4.5mm diameter is required. The universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive ensures compatibility with standard tools, whilst six underhead lobes deliver improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power. The anti-friction thread minimises timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning during assembly, and improves drawing strength. The serrated design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque. Featuring a double cutting point for faster drilling time and reduced clogging, this screw is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. The Elementech 400 coating provides anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, with the environmentally friendly finish containing no Cr6+ and tested to 400 hours Salt Spray resistance.
