Forgefix Forgefast Pozi Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 6.0 X 50Mm Box 100

This 6mm diameter x 50mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 100 delivers robust fixing capability for thick timber sections with maximum 6mm diameter strength. The 50mm length combined with 6mm diameter is ideal for securing heavy-duty floor joists, substantial structural timber, and thick framework where deep penetration with superior holding power is essential. The universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive works seamlessly with standard tools, whilst six underhead lobes provide improved countersinking and reduced surface dust. Reinforced countersunk necks deliver enhanced holding power. The anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning of joined components, and improves drawing strength. The serrated thread design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque. Featuring a double cutting point for faster drilling time and reduced clogging, this screw is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. The advanced Elementech 400 coating provides anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, with the environmentally friendly finish containing no Cr6+ and tested to 400 hours Salt Spray resistance.
