Forgefix Forgefast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 5.0 X 80Mm Box 100

This 5mm x 80mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 100 offers extended length for the most demanding structural interior applications. The 80mm length is particularly effective for fixing timber through insulation to masonry, joining very substantial timber sections, and creating heavy-duty structural connections whilst the 5mm diameter ensures exceptional holding power and superior shear resistance throughout the full length. The universally accepted Torx® compatible drive ensures reliable torque transfer and virtually eliminates cam-out, making installation more efficient even in the deepest structural applications. Its patented drill and drive thread design reduces splitting whilst preventing the jacking and spinning often experienced with conventional long screws. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that outlasts conventional zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally responsible finish contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it perfect for interior environments. Each box of 100 is supplied complete with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
