Forgefix Forgefast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 3.5 X 40Mm Box 200

This 3.5mm x 40mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 200 is engineered for applications requiring deeper penetration whilst maintaining a moderate diameter. The 40mm length makes it ideal for fixing heavier skirting boards, joining thicker timber frames, and securing substantial interior fittings where the 3.5mm diameter provides excellent holding power without requiring pre-drilling in most softwoods. Equipped with a Torx® compatible drive, these screws deliver exceptional grip and torque transfer, significantly reducing installation time and driver wear. The patented drill and drive thread creates a clean path through the timber whilst minimising splitting, and eliminates jacking and spinning of joined components. The reinforced countersunk neck with recessed ribs provides superior holding power and improved countersinking with minimal surface dust generation. The advanced Elementech 400 coating delivers anti-corrosive protection that outlasts standard zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally responsible finish contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it perfect for interior environments requiring long-term reliability. Each box of 200 is supplied complete with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
