Forgefix Forgefast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 4.5 X 70Mm Box 100

This 4.5mm x 70mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides substantial length for heavy-duty interior structural applications. The 70mm length is ideal for fixing timber to blockwork through plasterboard, joining very thick hardwood sections, and securing structural timber connections whilst the robust 4.5mm diameter ensures reliable holding power throughout the extended length. Equipped with a Torx® compatible drive, these screws deliver exceptional torque transfer and eliminate driver slippage for consistent installation quality in demanding deep penetration applications. The patented drill and drive thread creates its own pilot hole whilst driving, significantly reducing splitting and preventing jacking between joined components. The reinforced countersunk neck with recessed ribs ensures superior holding power and improved countersinking with minimal surface dust. Each screw benefits from the superior Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive finish that outlasts standard zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally conscious coating is Cr6+ free and has been Salt Spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring dependable performance throughout the life of your interior project. Every box of 100 includes a Torx® compatible bit.
