Forgefix Forgefast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 4.0 X 70Mm Box 100

This 4mm x 70mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides substantial length for heavy-duty interior applications. The 70mm length is particularly well-suited for fixing timber to blockwork, joining very thick timber sections, and creating structural timber connections whilst the 4mm diameter ensures reliable holding power throughout the extended length without requiring excessive driving force. The Torx® compatible drive system ensures consistent torque transfer and reduces driver slippage, making installation faster even in deep penetration applications. Its patented drill and drive thread minimises splitting whilst eliminating the jacking and spinning commonly experienced with standard long screws. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs provide improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to six times longer than traditional zinc coatings. This environmentally responsible coating contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it ideal for interior environments requiring long-term reliability. Each box of 100 is conveniently supplied with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
