Forgefix Forgefast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zy 5.0 X 40Mm Box 200

This 5mm x 40mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 200 provides extended length for heavy-duty interior carpentry applications. The 40mm length is particularly well-suited for fixing timber to masonry, joining thick hardwood sections, and securing substantial structural components whilst the robust 5mm diameter ensures exceptional holding power and superior shear resistance throughout the full length. The universally accepted Torx® compatible drive ensures reliable torque transfer and eliminates driver slippage, allowing for confident installation in challenging deep penetration applications. Its patented drill and drive thread design reduces splitting whilst preventing the jacking and spinning often experienced with conventional fasteners. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that outlasts conventional zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally responsible finish contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it perfect for interior environments. Each box of 200 is supplied complete with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
