ForgeFix - Multi-Purpose Pozi Screw CSK ST ZP 5.0 x 40mm ForgePack 10

Forgefix multi-purpose countersunk screw with Pozidriv drive and zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Single-threaded design for higher pull-out values and rapid insertion. The countersunk head sinks flush with the substrate to leave a smooth surface finish. Zinc coating prevents substrate oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if damaged. Zinc oxide does not break down the substrate surface as iron oxide does, and can itself act as a barrier to further corrosion. Suitable for use with timber, chipboard, MDF, PVCu and similar materials. Commonly used across joinery, electrical, plumbing and general construction trades. Supplied as a pack of 10 screws.
