Forgefix Multi-Purpose Pozi Screw Csk St Zp 5 X 70Mm Box 100

This 5mm x 70mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a pack of 200, providing excellent value for demanding construction projects. The substantial 5mm diameter combined with 70mm length makes this variant ideal for heavy duty applications and thicker timber sections where maximum strength and deep penetration are essential. Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive system and countersunk head, this screw creates a flush finish with substrates for a clean, professional appearance. The zinc plated coating provides robust corrosion protection by forming a barrier against oxidation, with zinc oxide acting as an additional protective layer that preserves substrate integrity. The Pozidriv drive system offers significant advantages over traditional Phillips screws, featuring four additional contact points and no rounded corners. This prevents cam-out when correct tooling is used, allowing great torque to be applied with confidence. The distinctive 45-degree embossed line on the screw head makes Pozidriv screws easily identifiable. The single thread design delivers both higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, making installation efficient whilst maintaining exceptional fixing strength in the most demanding applications. Suitable for use with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials across all trades including joinery, electrical and plumbing work.
