Forgefix Multi-Purpose Pozi Screw Csk St Zp 5 X 80Mm Box 100

This 5mm x 80mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a pack of 200, offering excellent value for substantial construction projects. The robust 5mm diameter combined with 80mm length makes this variant particularly suitable for heavy duty applications and very thick materials where extended penetration depth and superior holding power are required. Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive and countersunk head, this screw sinks flush with substrates to deliver a smooth, professional surface finish. The zinc plated coating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode, ensuring long-lasting performance that protects both the screw and substrate integrity. The Pozidriv screw drive is distinguished by four additional contact points compared to Phillips screws, with no rounded corners that could cause cam-out. When used with correct tooling in good condition, this design allows significant torque to be applied confidently during installation. The screw head features a distinctive 45-degree embossed line for easy identification. The single thread design is engineered to provide both higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, combining installation efficiency with exceptional fixing strength in demanding applications. These screws are suitable for PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials across joinery, electrical, plumbing and DIY applications.
