Forgefix Multi-Purpose Pozi Screw Csk St Zp 5 X 90Mm Box 100

This 5mm x 90mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a pack of 200, providing excellent value for the most demanding construction projects. The substantial 5mm diameter combined with 90mm length makes this variant ideal for heavy duty applications and very thick materials where maximum penetration depth and holding strength are absolutely essential. Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive system and countersunk head, this screw creates a flush finish with substrates for a clean, professional appearance. The zinc plated coating provides robust corrosion protection by forming a barrier against oxidation, with zinc oxide creating an additional protective layer that doesn't compromise substrate surface integrity. The Pozidriv drive system offers distinct advantages over traditional Phillips screws, with four additional contact points and no rounded corners. This eliminates cam-out when proper tooling is used, allowing significant torque to be applied with confidence during installation. The distinctive 45-degree embossed line on the screw head identifies genuine Pozidriv compatibility. The single thread design delivers both higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, making installation efficient whilst maintaining exceptional fixing strength in the most challenging applications. Suitable for use with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials across all trades.
