Horse Straights Direct Slippery Elm - 1kg

Slippery Elm Slippery Elm bark powder has a high mucilage content, offering gentle and effective support for the digestive system. 100% Slippery Elm from the inner bark. The mucilage forms a soothing layer over the stomach lining, helping to soothe the digestive tract and making it an excellent choice for horses with sensitive stomachs. This versatile supplement helps firm droppings, maintain normal stomach acid levels and healthy bacterial balance in the gut. Slippery Elm can also be mixed with water for external use as a natural poultice. It aids in drawing out toxins, soothing, and promoting healing. Feed rate (for an average 500kg horse): 10 - 20g per day We recommend feeding Slippery Elm separately from other supplements or medications, as its naturally high mucilage content may affect absorption when fed together.
