Irwin Blue Groove Power Wood Drill Bit – 10507717

The 25mm Irwin Blue Groove Power wood drill bit is perfect for drilling large diameter holes required for substantial waste pipes, ventilation ducts and heavy-duty fixtures. This size is essential for professional tradesmen working on commercial installations and major domestic projects. Featuring IRWIN's pioneering bi-metal technology, this 25mm bit delivers unrivalled performance that standard flat bits cannot match, particularly when drilling through nail-embedded wood. The innovative construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge that provides exceptional durability and allows nail cutting without failure, with a flexible carbon steel body that prevents the bit from locking or breaking under stress. The self-feeding tip actively draws the bit through timber materials, significantly reducing the effort required from both drill and operator, whilst three precision-ground cutting edges ensure rapid chip removal for faster drilling and consistently clean holes. This 25mm variant is particularly effective for installing larger waste pipes, ventilation systems and architectural metalwork.
