IRWIN Diamond Drill Bit 8Mm

The IRW10507895 is an 8mm diameter diamond tile drill bit, offering a practical size for drilling larger fixings and penetrations in tile work. This diameter is particularly useful for creating holes for wall plugs, pipe entries, cable outlets, and mounting fixtures in ceramic, porcelain, and other tile materials across residential and commercial installations. Constructed with tough brazed diamond grit, this 8mm bit provides fast, smooth cutting performance through all grades of hard and soft tiles. The raised diamond grit edge makes starting in hard tile straightforward without requiring a guide, whilst the reverse spiral design forces water towards the cutting head, keeping the diamonds cool to increase cutting speed and extend tool life. Equipped with an auto slug ejection slot, this bit allows for continuous, uninterrupted cutting, maximising efficiency on site. For the best results and longest lifespan, use with water during drilling operations to further enhance cooling and performance. Features and Benefits: • 8mm diameter ideal for larger fixings and penetrations • Diamond tipped construction ensures fast cutting and durability • Raised diamond grit edge for easy starting without a guide • Reverse spiral design keeps diamonds cool during operation • Auto slug ejection slot for continuous, productive work Specifications: Diameter (mm): 8
