K'nex STEM Explorations Roller Coaster Building Set

This building set turns into 3 working roller coaster models. There's a motorised belt that powers the coaster car through loops and bends. The included experiment guide aligns with key stage 2 and 3 standards. It leads children through 3 inquiry-based experiments that explore momentum, velocity and gravity. After the experiments, they can rebuild the pieces however they like. The set includes 546 K'nex rods and connectors. Up to 3 children can build and experiment together. The step-by-step manual makes assembly straightforward. The motorised belt keeps the coaster car moving at speed. The experiments broaden understanding of the scientific process. The pieces connect easily and encourage creative rebuilds. The set ties together science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts. Suitable for ages 8 years and over.
