Knipex 86 05 Pliers Wrench Adjustable Spanner

The Knipex 86 05 Pliers Wrench is an adjustable spanner designed to replace complete sets of metric and imperial spanners, offering tradespeople a versatile single-tool solution for a wide range of fastening applications. This innovative tool combines the functionality of traditional spanners with the adjustability of pliers, making it ideal for plumbers, heating engineers, and general maintenance professionals. Featuring smooth parallel jaws, the pliers wrench enables damage-free installation of plated fittings and chrome components, whilst also excelling at gripping, holding, pressing and bending workpieces. The zero backlash jaw pressure prevents damage to the edges of sensitive components, making it particularly suitable for finished surfaces and delicate fastenings. Fast adjustment is achieved by simply pushing a button directly on the workpiece, with 19 adjustment positions providing precise sizing from 2mm up to 52mm capacity. The parallel jaw design delivers a solid grip across all widths, whilst the ratchet-type principle allows quick tightening and release of bolted connections without repositioning the tool. Built with no unintentional shift of gripping jaws and no slipping at the joint, this tool provides reliable performance on every application. The lever transmission ratio of greater than 10:1 generates strong gripping power, reducing the effort required for stubborn fixings.
