Knipex 97 53 Front Loading Self Adjusting Crimping Pliers – 975309SB

The Knipex 97 53 Self-Adjusting Crimping Pliers are professional-grade crimping tools designed specifically for wire ferrules conforming to DIN 46228 standards. These innovative pliers feature automatic self-adjustment technology that adapts to the required wire ferrule size, eliminating the risk of incorrect crimps caused by selecting the wrong die position. Engineered for precision and reliability, these crimping pliers deliver consistently high-quality crimps through an integral lock mechanism with self-releasing action. The frontal loading design allows wire ferrules to be inserted from the front of the tool, streamlining the crimping process for electricians and control panel wirers. Factory calibration ensures each tool is precisely set for accurate results straight from the package. The toggle lever mechanism provides optimum force transmission, significantly reducing operator fatigue during extended use. A selector lever enables quick switching between two crimping ranges: 0.08-10 mm² and 16 mm², covering a comprehensive spectrum of wire ferrule sizes including AWG 28-6. The compact, lightweight design enhances manoeuvrability and comfort during repetitive crimping tasks. These pliers are also suitable for crimping twin wire ferrules up to 2 x 10 mm² (provided the diameter is smaller than 6.6 mm), making them versatile tools for various electrical installation and control cabinet wiring applications.
