Makita SDS Plus Brad Point Drill Bit for Wood 8mm

The Makita SDS Plus Brad Point Drill Bit in 8mm diameter delivers accurate, clean-bore drilling in timber using a standard SDS Plus rotary drill. The 8mm size is well suited to larger fixing and routing tasks in joinery and construction, where a reliable, precise hole is needed time after time. The brad point tip locates firmly on the wood surface before cutting begins, reducing drift and producing cleaner entry points compared to standard twist bits. As with all wood-specific SDS bits, the hammer function must be switched off to protect the tip and ensure a quality result.
