Melco Box Spanner Metric – TIM8

The Melco TIM8 ISO Metric Box Spanner offers 30mm x 32mm sizing, designed for larger plumbing installations, automotive driveline work, and medium-industrial applications. This size range handles substantial compression fittings, large radiator connections, suspension components, and various machinery fasteners where significant torque capacity is required. Manufactured from 3mm steel with a bright plated finish, this spanner provides adequate strength for its size range whilst the tubular construction maintains access to recessed positions. The bright plating offers corrosion resistance for tools used across plumbing and automotive environments. The 30mm and 32mm combination is commonly encountered on commercial heating systems, large-bore plumbing, and heavier automotive assemblies, making this double-ended configuration particularly practical for professional installers. Tommy bar provision becomes increasingly important at these sizes, enabling operators to generate the torque necessary for proper fastener tightening and the breaking force needed for seized fixings.
