The blue isotonic packets mix with 8 oz of water to yield a balanced saline solution. The green hypertonic packets offer a higher saline concentration when used with 8 oz of water, and can also be diluted with 16 oz to reach isotonic strength. Some users explore hypertonic solutions under physician guidance, especially if mild burning occurs. If irritation arises, discontinue use and reassess the concentration. Blue isotonic packets: isotonic solution with 8 oz water Green hypertonic packets: higher saline concentration with 8 oz water, adjustable with more water Hypertonic guidance: may require physician input for best results Burning or stinging: discontinue use if intolerable Pediatric vs regular bottle options The line includes a pediatric approach and a regular kit, designed to deliver the same concentration of solution. The pediatric bottle holds 4 oz, while the regular bottle holds 8 oz, with corresponding cap openings. For younger children who find larger volumes overwhelming, the pediatric option may feel more comfortable. Therapeutic benefits are described as equivalent between formats, with age guidance suggesting suitability for users 10 years and up for the regular kit.
