Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid - 3262 Clear Matt / 750ml

Osmo Polyx®-Oil Rapid is the fast-drying version of the popular Osmo Polyx®-Oil range, specially developed for projects where a quicker turnaround is important. Combining the durable protection of natural oils and waxes with significantly reduced drying times, Osmo Oil Rapid allows two coats to be applied in a single day. Designed to enhance the natural character of interior wood, Osmo Polyx Rapid allows the unique grain and texture of timber to remain visible while providing long-lasting protection. Available in clear and transparent colour finishes, it offers a choice of natural-looking finishes to suit a wide range of interior projects. Once applied, Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid provides an extremely water-repellent and durable surface that is highly resistant to dirt and everyday household spills, including wine, coffee and cola. This makes it particularly suitable for wooden floors, furniture, doors and other interior woodwork exposed to everyday wear and tear. The microporous, breathable formulation penetrates the wood while allowing it to breathe naturally. Unlike traditional varnishes, the finish will not crack, peel or flake, helping to maintain the appearance and performance of the timber over time. Osmo Rapid is also easy to apply and maintain. Apply two thin, even coats along the direction of the wood grain using an Osmo Flat Brush or Microfibre Roller, allowing approximately 4–5 hours between coats. Good ventilation should be maintained while the surface dries. The finish will fully cure in approximately 2–3 weeks. For future maintenance, worn areas can be cleaned and re-treated without extensive sanding, making Osmo Polyx®-Oil Rapid a practical solution for busy homes and interior wood surfaces.
