Pioneer DJ VM-70 Speaker

The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is an active studio monitor for DJs and producers who need accurate, punchy sound whether laying down tracks at home or recreating a club feel in the studio. With a 16.5cm mica-reinforced woofer and 70W power driven by a Class D amplifier with 96kHz sampling DSP, you get fast-attacking bass and clear audio from 37Hz to 36,000Hz. The hexagonal aluminium front baffle reduces unwanted vibrations for lower distortion, while the tweeter guard protects the high-frequency driver from accidental knocks. What makes this speaker useful is the DSP control on the rear panel, with separate Low EQ and High EQ knobs to tune the output for any room. The VM series is voiced flat so you hear music as it's meant to sound, which matters when producing or mixing and needing to trust what you hear. Its bass reflex design and wide bandwidth mean high-energy sound with minimal distortion. At 34.1cm tall and 22.9cm wide, it fits comfortably on a desk or stand. It's mains operated, works with iPod, iPhone and iPad, and comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.
