Rhinobuild Bricklayers Plumb Line for Perp and Movement Joints

The Bricklayers Plumb Line for Perp and Movement Joints helps bricklayers maintain accurate vertical alignment at perpendicular and movement joints. Designed for bricklayers and blockwork teams, this plumb line helps keep verticals true when setting perpendiculars and movement joints across 100mm and 140mm blockwork. The hooked end allows a string line to be tied to the tool, with the line itself not included. Clamp length: 600mm — this length gives you a practical reach across standard wall heights while keeping the line within easy sight as you work. Attachment method: Attaches securely to 100mm and 140mm blockwork. The hooked end enables you to tie a string line directly to the tool for a taut reference as you lay out joints. Material and finish: Made from zinc plated steel to provide corrosion resistance on site, helping the tool withstand damp conditions typical of bricklaying environments. Origin and build: Designed and manufactured in Britain using high-quality materials, ensuring durability and reliable performance over the life of the tool. Use cases and benefits: Ideal for maintaining vertical alignment when forming perp joints and for checking alignment of movement joints across long runs in brick and blockwork. Useful when starting walls from corners, across openings, or when tying into existing structures where straight, true verticals matter. Remember that the string line is not included, so plan to supply your own line or suitable line kit. In practice, this plumb line provides a straightforward, robust solution for tradespeople who need consistent vertical references without bulky equipment. It complements standard bricklaying setups and supports precise, repeatable results on site, pairing British design with proven corrosion resistance for daily use in busy builds.Complete your profile setupCompare compatible brickwork profiles and the full range of Rhinobuild brick clamps.
