Thor Copper / Hide Hammer

The 2.5kg Thor Classic Copper & Hide Hammer is a heavyweight professional tool designed for the most demanding industrial applications. With a 50mm diameter head, this Size 4 hammer delivers exceptional striking force for heavy-duty tasks in rail maintenance, large-scale metalworking and industrial fabrication where substantial impact is essential. The dual-face design maintains versatility even at this substantial size. The 99.99% pure electrolytic copper face, cut from pure electrolytic extruded copper bars, provides harder strikes with maximum impact whilst copper's natural non-sparking properties make it crucial for work environments where striking steel on steel contact poses a safety risk. The compressed, sustainable water buffalo hide face absorbs recoil and dampens sound, offering a firm strike that won't mark finished surfaces. The cast iron head ensures long-lasting durability for the most heavy-duty applications, whilst the fitted anti-vibration wooden handle, crafted from high-quality hardwood, minimises recoil for enhanced comfort and control.
