Bahco - 9629-18 Flat Bit 18mm

The Bahco 9629-18 Flat Bit with 18mm diameter is designed for demanding woodworking applications including pipework installations, cable management, and heavy-duty carpentry. With a working length of 75mm and overall length of 152mm, this size is particularly effective for drilling holes for 22mm compression fittings, larger electrical cables, and substantial structural fixings. Engineered with a positive cutting angle, this 18mm bit drills holes twice as fast whilst lasting three times longer than conventional flat bits. Made from high-carbon steel and heat-treated all over, the hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft for exceptional durability. Its winged shoulders enable the bit to first cut the wood and then remove material from the centre section, ensuring a smooth finish and superior swarf clearance. This size features cutting spurs for enhanced precision and cleaner hole edges, essential for professional installations. The hex shank provides secure grip in your drill chuck, preventing slippage during operation.
