Bahco 9631 Long Flat Wood Drill Bit – 963112400

The Bahco 9631 12mm Long Flat Bit delivers exceptional performance for medium-sized drilling applications requiring extended depth. This 12mm diameter bit with 400mm overall length is ideal for plumbing installations, electrical work with larger cables, and general construction where substantial holes need to be drilled through thick timbers or into awkward locations. Manufactured from high-carbon steel with comprehensive heat treatment, this bit features a positive cutting angle that drills holes twice as fast and lasts three times longer than conventional flat bits. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, providing the rigidity needed to maintain accuracy when drilling to depth. The winged shoulder design cuts the wood circumference first, then removes the centre section for a smooth finish and superior swarf clearance. At 12mm, this size is particularly popular for medium pipe work, dowel applications, and general joinery requiring accurate, deep holes with a professional finish. Features and Benefits: • 12mm diameter suitable for medium plumbing and electrical work • 400mm length reaches deep into thick timber sections • Positive cutting angle doubles speed and triples bit life • Forged blade construction maintains accuracy at depth • Winged design delivers clean finish and prevents clogging Specifications: Diameter (mm): 12 Overall Length (mm): 400 Pack Qty.: 1
