Bahco 9631 Long Flat Wood Drill Bit – 963118400

The Bahco 9631 18mm Long Flat Bit provides excellent capability for larger-hole applications requiring exceptional depth. With its 18mm diameter and 400mm overall length, this bit is perfect for substantial plumbing installations, larger electrical conduit work, and construction applications where deep drilling through thick timber sections is necessary. Constructed from high-carbon steel and fully heat-treated for durability, this bit features a positive cutting angle that drills twice as fast and lasts three times longer than conventional flat bits. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, providing the structural integrity required to maintain accuracy when drilling to significant depths without wandering. The innovative winged shoulders cut the wood perimeter first, then remove the centre material for a smooth finish and superior swarf clearance that keeps the bit cutting efficiently. This 18mm size is particularly suitable for larger pipe installations, substantial cable management requirements, and general construction demanding both size and depth capability. Features and Benefits: • 18mm diameter for larger plumbing and electrical applications • 400mm length for deep penetration into substantial timber • Positive cutting angle for doubled speed and tripled lifespan • High-carbon steel with full heat treatment for maximum durability • Winged design delivers professional finish and efficient waste removal Specifications: Diameter (mm): 18 Overall Length (mm): 400 Pack Qty.: 1
