Bosch 13 Piece PointTeq HSS Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 13 Piece PointTeQ HSS Drill Bit Set is a versatile collection of high-speed steel twist drill bits designed for fast, accurate drilling in metal. Covering 13 diameters from 1.5mm to 6.5mm, the set is well suited to tradespeople and contractors who regularly need to drill clearance and pilot holes across a range of metal workpieces. The defining feature of this set is Bosch's PointTeQ tip design, which offers a self-centring point that prevents the bit from wandering at the start of a hole. This allows for quick, confident drilling starts without the need for a centre punch. The 135-degree tip geometry also increases the drilling rate, which in turn reduces heat build-up and wear on the bit. Each bit is manufactured to DIN 338 standard with a Type N flute angle, ensuring consistent quality and compatibility with standard three-jaw drill chucks. The highly elastic body construction minimises breakage risk — particularly on the smaller diameter bits below 6mm — while the black-oxide coated flutes promote efficient chip removal and help extend bit life. These bits are suitable for use in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastics.
