Bosch 6 Piece PointTeq HSS Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 6 Piece PointTeQ HSS Drill Bit Set is a precision metal drilling set designed for fast, accurate drilling in a wide range of metals and plastics. The PointTeQ tip design is central to the performance of these bits. The self-centering tip prevents wandering at the start of a hole, making quick and accurate drilling starts straightforward — particularly useful when working on smooth or curved metal surfaces. The increased drilling rate also means less heat and wear are generated during use, helping the tips stay sharp for longer. These bits are suitable for drilling clearance and pilot holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastics. The cylindrical shank system is compatible with standard three-jaw drill chucks and is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers. The black-oxide coated flute aids fast chip removal, keeping the cutting area clear. Built to DIN 338 standard with a Type N flute angle and a 135-degree tip, these bits are manufactured with a highly elastic body to reduce the risk of breakage — particularly relevant for the smaller diameters in the set. The six included sizes cover 2mm through to 8mm, making this a practical everyday set for metalworking tasks on site or in the workshop.
