The Elta Multiflow SMB400/4-1AC is a 400mm square inline mixed flow box fan with a single phase AC motor, moving up to 2552 m³/h in free air and 893 m³/h against 200 Pa. It fits straight into 400mm ductwork on Ductmate flanges at each end.The 4 pole motor runs at 1370 rpm on a 220 to 240V 50Hz supply, absorbing 0.212 kW with a peak current of 1.09 A, and has sealed for life bearings. The casing is stiffened pre-galvanised sheet steel, the impeller has 7 backward curved aerofoil blades in high performance composite, and it handles air up to 60°C. It keeps 2092 m³/h at 100 Pa and 1692 m³/h at 150 Pa.Its curve drops away quickly above 150 Pa (893 m³/h at 200 Pa and only 130 m³/h at 250 Pa), so it is the wrong fan for long runs with heat exchangers, heavy filtration or attenuators.
